Impact

Judith is very positive about the ability of Glow to support her teaching. In particular:

  • The ability to provide just-in-time homework and revision support for pupils through Discussion Boards
  • Pupils who might not normally ask questions in class time are more willing to ask for help through the Discussion Board
  • The ability to set summative and formative assessments via Glow Learn which can be marked by the system
  • Via the Glow Learn Monitoring and Tracking system, targeting feedback to individual pupils regarding their progress
  • Through the Glow Learn Progress Records, being able to quickly identify where the class group are struggling and in need of additional support

In making use of a variety of Glow tools, Judith has developed a Glow Group that is engaging and relevant for her pupils. The group provides an easy access point to a variety of information sources, stimulus to deeper learning, opportunities for collaboration, peer evaluation and assessment. In the video clip below, Judith sums up her views on the impact that Glow is having on her class.
