On Saturday 21st August, Glow Light goes live.  If you want more information about Glow Light and the functionality it offers a video is available here. 

Glow Light will be switched on for all users from 28 August unless an alternative switch on date has been requested by your local authority.   However, if you want to switch it on before the 28th, then this blog entry will explain how (you’ll need the help of an ASM). To switch Glow Light on manually:

1  Log in as the ASM

2  Choose Permissions from the left hand menu

3  From the tabs choose Service Usage (3)

4  Find the users in question using the drop down menu and then click on Use Glow Light then click on Save

If you need to do this for large numbers of people please contact Glow Support before doing this.

Next time the user in question logs in they will see the Glow Light screen from where they can navigate through Glow.  This opening screen is shown below (the background image will change over time)
